About me..

Mia was born to a wild Sicilian chef of a father and a brave, ahead-of-her-time Australian mother who travelled the world with fierce independence.
The apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.

At just 17, Mia moved to London. Since then, she has journeyed across Asia and Africa, lived and travelled extensively in Italy, and devoured her way through many of the Greek Cyclades Islands.

Now a wife, mother of two beautiful boys, and an Italian chef, Mia has a gift for guiding the feminine traveller—helping her step confidently beyond her comfort zone, while making sure she eats damn well along the way.

She’s a confident adventurer, a great laugh, and an empathetic ear all in one.

My favourite travel moments..

Gosh that’s a hard one for me. I would say, travel is all about the little moments.

It’s sitting in a piazza & watching the children play soccer whilst eating a salumi board & listening to a street performer play Bach in Lucca.

Or dipping my toes in the Aegean Sea in Greece just mesmerised by the clarity & blues of the water in contrast to the dry craggy mountains all around me.

It’s sitting with the Nonna’s at the local cafe, ordering my cappuccino with a smile & enjoying their sweet observations as to who is this foreign girl before they get back to their talk of tonight’s meal.

I live for these small seemingly insignificant moments & to share them with others brings me ridiculous joy.
